STUDIO - (FLOWERS)
Today in the studio we where given the task of shooting flowers , using three different lighting setups.
We were told to make the flowers look delicate and also to light them from behind.
One of the setups was on a white folding table which allowed the images appear to be high key.
While another was on a white table with a grey pop up background, we also had a set up in the second studio where we used the medium format camera with a macro extension.
During the progress of taking the images i also used color gels to give hints of color the the backgrounds of the plants.
Below are a few of the images that i took through out the session.
This was the set up that we used for the medium format camera.
At first i was rather worried about taking this set of images , as i had not done any thing like it before.
But i am rather pleased with how my images have turned out i also enjoyed photographing flowers as i found it very calming.
